# Profile

> Your personal details, how you sign in, and the optional "What you mostly do" answer that sets your first-run defaults.

Profile holds your own details: your name, your email and how you sign in, two-factor authentication, your sessions and devices, and **What you mostly do**. It belongs to you and follows you across organizations. Open it from your account menu.

## What you mostly do

At the end of onboarding Zespan asks one optional question, **What do you mostly do?** You can change your answer here at any time, under **How you use Zespan**. It saves as soon as you pick.

Your answer only chooses two first-run defaults:

* **The page Zespan opens on** when you finish onboarding.
* **The rows pinned at the top of your sidebar** the first time you open the dashboard, up to three.

Founders and executives also get a **See the value report** link in the Overview header.

It never hides a page, never limits what you can do, and has nothing to do with your organization role (Owner, Admin, Editor, Viewer or Billing). Nobody else sees it, and it is stored as a short label only. It is included when you export your data and deleted with your account.

| You pick | Opens on | Pinned rows |
| - | - | - |
| Building the AI app or agent | Traces | Traces, Issues, Agents |
| ML / data science, model quality | Evaluations | Evaluations, Test lab, Models |
| Product manager | Overview | Overview, Users, Evaluations |
| On-call / SRE / platform | Issues | Issues, Incidents, Alerts |
| Trust, safety, risk or compliance | Guardrails | Guardrails, Evaluations, Issues |
| Finance / FinOps | Costs | Costs, Models, Users |
| Founder or executive (CEO, CTO, CPO, CXO) | Overview, with a **See the value report** link in the header | Overview, Costs, Issues |
| Skip (the default) | Overview | None |

> [!NOTE]
>
> Changing your answer later does not move your sidebar. Once you have pinned, unpinned or collapsed anything, your sidebar is saved in your browser and your answer no longer changes it. If you have not touched it yet, it keeps showing what it shows now. Pin or unpin rows yourself from the sidebar at any time. See [Finding your way around the dashboard](https://docs.zespan.com/dashboard/navigation.md).
